The clinical laboratories worldwide have faced numerous obstacles due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In midst of this outbreak, mistakes that occur during preanalytical phase sample collection, transportation, and processing can result in unfavorable outcomes. Therefore, aim investigation was ascertain contrast rate at which blood specimens are rejected by a laboratory analyze compare types errors pre-pandemic pandemic periods. present retrospective study done Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital; India. Information gathered from two distinct time periods - phase, spanned December 30th, 2019 March 22, 2020, ran 23th November 30, 2020. rejection for samples established determining percentage collection tubes containing out total number received.
